So, I’ve noticed that most people who hear the term ‘hacking’ interpret it negatively, as if it’s always incorrect. In simple terms, hacking is not always a harmful act, but it is most frequently linked to illicit activities and data theft by cyber criminals.

So, who exactly are hackers?
A hacker is a person who solves a technological problem by using computer, networking, or other skills.
Are there different categories of hackers?
Yes, there are three distinct categories of hackers.

Black Hat Hackers
White Hat Hackers
Grey Hat Hackers

1. Black Hat Hackers

Unscrupulous hackers, sometimes known as security crackers, are black-hat hackers. These individuals illegally hack the system in order to steal money or achieve their own criminal objectives. They target banks and other businesses with poor security and steal money or credit card data. They can also change or delete the information. Hacking with a black hat is prohibited.

2. White Hat Hackers

Ethical hackers and penetration testers are examples of white hat hackers. The good guys of the cyber world are known as white hat hackers.

These individuals employ the same method as black hat hackers. They can also hack the system, but only those systems that they have been given authority to attack in order to test the system’s security. They concentrate on IT system security and protection. Hacking with a white hat is legal.

3.Grey Hat Hackers

Gray hat hackers are a cross between black and white hat hackers. They can hack any system, even if they don’t have permission, in order to test its security, but they will never take money or cause damage.

In most circumstances, they inform the system’s administrator. They’re also breaking the law since they’re testing the security of a system they don’t have permission to test. Grey hat hacking is done legally and illegally at times.

You might be wondering how hacking works. Is it as simple as it appears in the movies, when you press a few random buttons and you’re inside someone’s servers?

If yes then my mate you are completely wrong Hacking is not that easy how ever there are some tools that makes it easy.
